Bonaire

Our most recent dive trip to Bonaire was awesome! Bonaire certainly lived up to it's name as the 'World's Capital of Shore Diving'.  You can literally drive to any beach, wade into the water, and see beautiful reefs right offshore!  This island is great for beginners.  I took a class of 5 students and they had a ball!  Visibility was 80-100 ft daily, the water a warm 81F and hardly any currents!  There's plenty of advanced diving too.  A great wreck called the Hilma Hooker starts in 65ft of water with the bottom at 95ft.  It lies on a sandy bottom next to a reef that goes up to 30ft.  All around the island the reef drops gradually at first then quickly at about 70ft down to 130ft for some nice deep dives.

Accommodations:    Lions Dive Resort

                                Buddy Dive Resort

We used two condominium locations with our group.  Luckily Lions and Buddy are right next to each other were able to accommodate our total group of 10 divers!

Dive Operation:       Buddy Dive Resort

Great dive operation!  Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.  They not only offer unlimited shore diving with their drive through fill station, but they offer boat dives too.  In addition to diving, they offer topside activities including cave snorkeling, mangrove snorkeling, children activities and more!
