Southern California

Luckily we can dive all year long here in Southern California, where there is the most outstanding Kelp Forest!  Yes the water can be a little chilly at times, but with the proper exposure suit, your dives here can be some of the best you've ever done in your life!  The kelp offers a haven for many fish as well as a food supply for so many other animals!  The kelp thrives in our chilly water as it can grow up to 1 foot a day!  The kelp forests only grow in cooler waters so that's what make California diving unique.
