Roatan, Honduras

Want to go to a remote island, with a relaxing atmosphere, and phenomenal diving?  Try Roatan.  It's one of the Bay Islands of Honduras.

Beautiful clear, warm water with untouched reefs.  The fish life is huge, and aren't afraid of humans.  You know how fish usually scatter when you get close to them?  Well these don't.  Great opportunities for underwater photos.

Activity: Take a day and visit Anthony's Key Resort.  Their Dolphin Diving experience is worth the $100 for the dive.  You get to meet 3 semi-wild dolphins before you go out in the open ocean and see them in their own territory.  They come very close to you and they'll let you touch them once they get comfortable with you.  This is a guided dive but definitely worth it, especially if you take photos or video!

The diving in Roatan is amazing!  Beautiful colors!  It's on the Caribbean reef, the 2nd largest in the world.  Giant soft sponges, sea fans, sea grass, etc... Check it out for yourself!
